2019: Traditional Rulers Endorse Lagos Lawmaker, Engr. Setonji David

It was fanfare when the trio of Aholu of Ajara Vetho Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Aholu Koshoedo Ebenezer Ahisu, the Tha Zunnoh Toyon 1 of Ajara Vetho Kingdom,  Oba Samuel Amosu Owolabani, Aholu Wenthon 1, De-Yeyi of Ajara Topa Kingdom and Aholu AganoToniyon 1 of Ajara Agamathen Kingdom led several Chiefs and Baales in Ajara Kingdon of Badagry Local Government to endorse Hon. Engr. Setonji David, the Lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Oba Samuel Amosu Owolabani, the Yeyi of Ajara Kingdom in his goodwill message described Setonji David as a goal-getter will stop at nothing in ensuring he gives succour to his constituents by delivering peoples-oriented dividends of democracy. 

He enumerated various developmental projects executed by the lawmaker.  The Aholu said there was no other way to appreciate Setonji than to ensure they give him the required total supports in his quest to return to the Assembly by 2019. The Monarch, however, urged all electorates in the constituency to vote massively for Hon. Setonji David in the forthcoming primary election of the All Progressives Congress, and the general election proper.

The Aholu Agano Toniyon 1 of Ajara Agamathen, who was also at the event described Engr. Setonji David as a man of his words. He said Setonji, has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he is a true son of the soil by not reneging on his campaign promises made barely four years ago. 

The Monarch did not mince words when he listed, roads rehabilitation, youths and women empowerment, jobs provision among others as promised made and fufilled by Setonji. 

He specifically lauded the Lawmaker's efforts which has transformed Ajara to a Kingdom of three Monarchs. 

The Agano said the second term quest of Setonji David is a payback time for a job weldone. He also pledged that all the traditional rulers and leaders in the Kingdom have resolved to personally involve in the campaign to ensure his reelection.

Setonji, in his reaction, thanked the royal fathers and the constituents for the confidence reposed in him to serve them. He promised to double his efforts at ensuring the people of the constituency enjoy more from his representation.
