During the tour, the Badagry-born lawmaker loved by many, especially his constituents for his humility, meekness, and delivery of peoples' oriented dividend of democracy took time to list among many, his achievements since elected to the coveted Lagos Assembly.

In his remark, he seized the opportunity to mention among others, many roads he has rehabilitated within the nooks and cranny of the constituency. He said, there is virtually no ward within the constituency that he has not revamped its bad roads.

An investigation by News Proof's reporter reveals that; Mr. Setonji David has rehabilitated numerous road within Badagry Local Government and Olorunda Local Council Development Area. These include; Ikoga-Javie road, Ikoga-Iragon road, Atinplome road, Ikoga-Ere road, Agemowo- Osun Egbado road, numerous roads in Ajara and Ibereko new site.

Apart from the rehabilitated roads by the lawmaker using his personal funds, Honourable Setonji has also used his good rapport with the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode to fast-track bring most of the projects embarked upon by the State Government in Badagry and Olorunda LCDA

During his address at the meeting, the Lagos lawmaker did not mince words when he mentioned that he has purchased over 1000 West Africa Senior School Certificate; General Certificate Examination (GCE) forms for many indigent youths across the two local governments which constitutes his constituency. The distributions of these GCE forms have been witnessed by News Proof reporters in different fora.

Setonji, however, lamented the bad states of the Lagos / Badagry expressway. He reeled out his numerous and unending efforts he has made to ensure the road is revamped to a motorable status.

"Each time I ply this our road (Lagos/Badagry expressway) while coming from Lagos to my home, I weep for my people, who ply it on daily basis. All I am just pleading for is little more patience. As a representative of the people, I am feeling their pain, I am even pained as well, but very soon, the Lagos State Government led by our amiable and hardworking Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will deploy personnel from Works Ministry to take a palliative rehabilitation on the road before the 10 lanes reconstruction gets here. The Governor has assured us of that. Please be patient with us".

"As you have all known me before, my ambition, especially this second term is not about me, but for Badagry, and by extension, my home constituency. I am not unaware of our various infrastructural deficiencies, especially in this constituency, I will ensure what is due for us here is giving to us by the State Government."

"Another area where am also sad about is the high unemployment rate in Badagry. It has been giving me a sleepless night. Though I have also made significant efforts in that area by helping some graduate and non-graduate youths to secure employment with the Lagos State Government. There are so many youths who are yet to be employed. Remember, an idle mind is the Devil's workshop, I will ensure more youths in our constituency get good jobs from the State," he concluded

In reaction to his remarks, the leader through one of them, Mr. Iroko Ibrahim, the Glesigan of Badagry thanked Honourable Setonji David. He, however, promised to ensure his reelection come 2019, but said he must ensure Ikoga ward is paramount in subsequent projects he will embark on.

Mr. Iroko was also frantic in his comments. He lamented the total neglect of Ward I in some projects brought to Badagry Local Government by the State Government. He mentioned that Ikoga ward, being the largest ward in Badagry has also been marginalized. He, however, urged Hon. Setonji to ensure the injustice meted to the ward is addressed.
